The changes mirror similar moves the President has made in recent months, where officials have been repositioned from one state corporation to another.

In September 2025, President Ruto revoked Dr. Samier Muravvej's appointment as the non-executive chairperson of the National Syndemic Diseases Control Council (NSDCC), only months after the initial appointment.

Dr. Muravvej was subsequently appointed as the non-executive Chairperson of the Kenya Fisheries Service for a three-year term.
