Dr. Alphose a leading cardiologist at Devamatha Hospital has spoken publicly for the first time following the untimely death of Raila who had been under the facility’s care in his final hours.


With a tone of sorrow and sincerity Dr. Alphose expressed the hospital's condolences and offered a glimpse into the intensive efforts made to save the prominent leader’s life.

We are very sorry she began clearly moved as she recounted the sequence of medical interventions.

According to Dr. Alphose Raila arrived at the hospital in a critical condition.

He was unresponsive upon arrival and his vital signs were severely compromised she noted.

A team of specialists was immediately assembled including experts in cardiology and emergency medicine who worked tirelessly to stabilize him.

Despite their rapid response and deployment of advanced cardiac life support measures Dr. Alphose admitted that Raila’s condition was already beyond reversal.

We administered all possible emergency procedures including resuscitation and cardiac stimulation but his heart did not respond as we had hoped.

She emphasized that every minute counted and the medical team worked under intense pressure and hope.

It is a heartbreaking loss not only for us as caregivers but for the nation Dr. Alphose said visibly emotional.

The hospital has pledged full transparency and cooperation with any official investigations into the circumstances surrounding Raila’s passing.
